Room was generally clean, very quiet location despite being on a main road.

Don’t think my sheets were changed. Found multiple black hairs in my bedding. Thankfully the room had two beds so we slept in the other one.

Exceptional

Hotel very clean. Liked the rooms and the decor. Ate dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning and the food and staff all excellent. Would definitely recommend the restaurant at the Chebucto Inn and the hotel we loved it.

L though for longer stays, I prefer a B& B, I would easily return to the Chebutco Inn for a short st

Yvonne in the office was excellent. She was extremely welcoming, helpful and informative before we arrived, even to the point of phoning a taxi company to find out how much it would cost to get there from the airport for me. She was also flexible and friendly about our early check-in, and cheerfully answered our many questions. It was a bonus to have the restaurant right on site, and although we were only able to have a light lunch there before leaving, the food was very good, the service was friendly and goods, and our meals were reasonably priced.

Only that it’s an older facility and that there’s not a lot of places to hang towels separately if there is more than one person staying in the room. A little traffic noise during the day, but quiet for sleeping at night.

The room was basic and the bed was like a rock.

We woke up to 7 Halifax Police cars, 2 police vans and several unmarked. They remained in the parking lot area for 2 more hours, no explanation was received and we felt trapped in the rooms. On departure and payment the staff still did not apologize or explain the scene.

Great, clean spot with lovely staff and on site restaurant… everything we needed!

It was centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great! bed clean room!

the restaurant was exceptional.

The carpet in our room 34 was disgustingly dirty and stained and the smell in the room was off putting but you got used to it.

Convenient bus route to harbour ect .

You must try the pancakes 😋

Very good

Furniture was quality. Very clean room. Bedding was beautiful and towels were excellent. Very quiet and location was great.

Flooring in bathroom area could be updated and better lighting in that area.

Very enjoyable stay for 3 nights. Great location at a low price. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Next time we have an overnight in Halifax, we'll be back!

The room was spotless, our breakfast was delicious, all staff members were friendly and welcoming, and this is an excellent location.

No complaints here.

We loved the staff at Chebucto Inn. Probably the friendliest and best we have come across in our travels. We loved the restaurant. The food was fabulous and the service excellent.

For price it was moderately acceptable. However, would not return without viewing the room first.

Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

There was dirt around the TV box on the floor. The bathroom door scrapped the floor when opening and closing. It required pushing. Bathroom was very small and uncomfortable.

It was better than I thought it would be.

The beds were very comfortable. Lots of space in the room, good size t.v.

Did not care for having such low toilets, with mobility issues, it made it very hard for me. The other thing was I didn't like having the sink outside the bathroom. If there had been a grab bar in the bathroom, it would have been easier.
