Super important for me was the absence of the chemical smell that permeates most hotel/motel rooms these days, making it almost impossible for me to sleep well. Our room and the room of a friend both simply smelled clean and fresh with no chemical smell, and sure enough I slept very well.

Very friendly staff at check-in, room was spacious with cold A/C, really cool building and large, free parking lot. Robes, cookies and water as a bonus treat. Bed was comfy. There was a small fridge in the room. A microwave and ice maker were available in a common space upstairs.
Simple continental breakfast was available, however, there was no milk for the cereal!
Let's talk bathroom: low water pressure in the shower, .
inadequate lighting even though there is a huge unusable window right next to the toilet giving zero privacy if shade open, at the least put up opacity film to allow more light in but offer privacy.
Internet has trouble very slow at times.
No working elevator.

The croissant at breakfast was nice
The hotel claims it is nice but has been renovated cheaply. My motorhome is more elegant than the hotel room.
The curtains, carpets and other thing look like they were bought from Walmart.
This hotel is not the hotel it claims to be.
