The hotel itself was clean.
Shower head spray pattern was crummy. It was a mist pattern. I could barely get the shampoo washed out of my hair. The pool was located outside in the parking lot. I have never had to walk through the main casino floor to get to the pool. Also come to find out the pool was closed and no access to a hot tub. Very disappointing when I was a charged a resort fee that had no resort features. This was very disappointing on a big event weekend- street vibrations. The air conditioner in the room was loud made different sounds various times throughout the evening.

Room, hotel overall and staff were great.
Staff were happy to help resolve issues (shipping in of goods prior to BM), and the resolving of transportation problems (taxi), and the coffee counter staff were happy to accommodate a coffee order with different names than what they were used to.
In NZ you cannot smoke inside a hotel or casino or restaurant or cafe or anywhere public.
I’d forgotten how much I dislike stale cigarette odour and unfortunately the ground floor reeked.

There’s a Thai restaurant around the corner and its location made it easy to walk downtown. Chose this spot cause of the parking lot my truck don’t fit into garages

I called for towels twice waited for an hour and 45 mins and never received them.
