Lovely place and great staff. We had beautiful view of lake and grounds are immaculate
I had to upgrade original room as whilst initial room was clean we were not happy with outlook directly on parking lot. We were aware an upgrade was probably going to be needed based on previous discussions / reviews. Staff were very accommodating and lovely but upgrade took price up to $400 per night which I felt was a lot for what we received.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was excellent and the host/staff was very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Canada!

Location was absolutely stunning. Gardens and patios were beautiful. Waterfront seating with amazing views
Front desk staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was included and very good. Lovely crispy bacon!
Free parking close to the entrance.
No fridge in room.
Pillows were not good.
No blackout blinds or curtain in room so very light when sun comes up in the morning.
Tea was like warm water.
Vending machines were out of stock.

Great location right on the water and walking distance to cruise boarding.
Property needs some care, paint and cleaning. It's a beautiful historic building but feels tired, needs some attention, new rugs in hallways, walls need painting/cleaning and general tiding up (remove tables in lobby, bedding and towels piled at end of hallways, etc.
