Easy to find, lovely house and lived the decor and history, the care and detail the owners have put into the house. Clear instructions to getting checked in and out.
Great base for the lighthouse, it’s a drive to both that and the fort.

We loved the room (we stayed in the Dauphin room), which had a nice seating area with two comfortable chairs, plus an outdoor balcony with a couple of Adirondack (or Muskoka) chairs. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had on our 2-week tour of the Maritimes. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but it was a weekend on the nearby seafood operation was not operating. The breakfast was delicious and was served in a bright room with lots of windows. The host was very welcoming and helped us with some dinner recommendations.
The bathroom sink was pretty small but serviceable. We chalked it up to staying in a characterful old home.

Central location. Nearby restaurants. Harbour viw. Large bath with pressure jets in middle of vast bedroom!

We had booked the premium loft room for a 50th wedding anniversary trip. We arrived on time but only key left out. Need to lug luggage up outside staircase. I am a petite person in my 70’s. Then at second floor transfer to interior stair. Not well explained. Jacuzzi jets would not turn on. Breakfast was meagre by upscale B&B standards.
Instructions on how to access the third floor with luggage. How to use the controls for Chameau whirlpool. Greeting by hosts.
