Wouldn’t attend this hotel again. It was below average experience.

The location was very easily accessible. Very easy to check in and out .

The parking lot was completely full so I had to search for parking in the street. The host checking me in was very dismissive and unwelcoming . The restrooms were dirty and had mold in the showers . That was a huge negative . The neighbors where very loud a woke me up at 5am . Although this wasn’t necessarily the hotels issue it didn’t help the negative stay I was already having .

Mini vacation turned out great! Walked throughout Little Italy and Gas Lamp.

Location was great for walking destinations. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was well appointed, clean and met our needs. Really quick (early) check-in!

Parking garage entry/exit is very tight even for sedans. Elevators were a little quirky with room key and floor selection.

Comfortable, hassle-free stay in the heart of vibrant Little Italy!

The location in Little Italy was perfect so travelers have ample amazing restaurants, drinking and coffee options to choose from. There was a cool little market right beside us, and a food hall with a nice fountain down the same street. Its walkable to the water and other cool areas like the gaslamp quarter. A person has access to the local train having the nearest stop about an 8 minutes walk away for a regular paced walker. The room was a nice size, beds were comfortable, there was a balcony with a nice view of San Diego, a huge TV, and the bathroom was really nice- it had a spa like feel to it. I liked the Italian inspired decor throughout both the hotel lobby/ entrance and within the rooms as well. The pool area was nice with a sweet view of the city area. We were shuttled for free to the airport early in the morning after our stay which was a huge bonus. We were able to check in a couple hours early, too, which was awesome after coming off the plane and wanting to shower and regroup.

I have nothing to complain about whatsoever.

Not to shabby

The hotel was close to Little Italy and about 15 minutes walk to downtown.

The pillows were a little too flat. Air condition could be better. Didn't really cool the room down.

The hotel was okay, location was awesome

No breakfast or any complimentary services, but the location to Little Italy & the farmers market was walkable and super easy to get to great coffee. The parking garage is for compact only cars and is a little dicey.

Little things add up, security of the hotel was suspect, the elevators would bounce when the door would open, what appeared to be complimentary coffee was not, no room service, restaurant was open only for breakfast and dinner and bar open 5-10.

The hotel was great and clean and the staff was the best they were so nice

The location is awesome, the rooms are great, we had a high floor with beautiful city views and harbor view and that cookie can’t be beat.

The super narrow entry to the parking garage, it’s also dark in there and low and tight

Disappointing

The room was great and the staff was very helpful and kind. I really appreciate their kindness. It is located in downtown and have great access to other locations.

The parking lot was awful. My new highlander was scratched and damaged when we drove outside of the parking lot.

Doubletree

The service and the on-site restaurant were excellent

The fact that the garbage parking and entrance to the levels and back down again were horrible. Too narrow for today's vehicles, especially the SUV''s.

Great stay and location by Little Italy

Overall clean, and staff friendly.

Lobby bar out of date, could uses a remake. Bar was closed.

Good central location in a dated hotel in need of a refresh.

Central location and friendly staff

It was expensive and the room was very dated, the sofa bed wasn’t made up and it took four calls for someone to come and make it up (we arrived late and needed bed!). I don’t think the price point is correct for the quality of the room. The parking is very tricky although that is made clear on the communication.

I won’t come back.

City location

Room not prepared. No sheets on the sofa bed. Sofa bed mattress very uncomfortable. Lots of outside noise because no double glazing in the windows. no microwave. Only 2 drinks when there were 4 of us. Very loud cleaning staff in the hallway. And all for $1700 for 2 nights. It really is abuse.

The hole experience was awful and I will never be back!

absolutely hated it

No parking for my truck so I had to park across the street witch ran me $274 for 1 night!! I could’ve stayed somewhere way nicer for what I paid for the dirty smelly room and parking together. we got absolutely no sleep because it was loud all night and the floors were sticky and the room smelled terrible. The hole experience was just awful.

Would recommend and stay again!

Convenient to Little Italy. Great early check in and complimentary water and cookies were offered!

My only two concerns were low water pressure from the shower, toilet, and sink. Also the outlet between the two beds was not working.

pleasant hotel for a good price in a good location downtown

the beds were comfortable. the rooms were clean when we got there. the staff was friendly.

you have to ask to have your room serviced every day you are there. we asked to have our room cleaned multiple times through our our stay and it was never done. we had to always ask for more coffee and towels.
