The location and convenience
I was unable to check in until nearly 6 p.m. I tried to check in several times as I arrived around noon. The staff told me to come back in 30 min. I was supposed to be able to check in at 4 p.m. This made my family late to our concert, even though it was within walking distance; we did not have enough time to get dressed because the room was not ready. I was told that we would be comped for 2 meals and 2 drinks, but instead, they charged me. I was told it would be removed but it was not. Please have a manager contact me to remove the charges.

Breakfast was above average. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
The pool hours are not family-friendly. The "pool" is not owned by the hotel, so when trying to use the pool, we were turned away because of swim lessons! When booking this hotel, it advertises a pool in the amenities. Upon check-in (3:00), we were told pool hours are 9am-4pm. So we weren't even able to swim once we checked in! I spoke with the front desk after we were turned away from the pool; she was nice but didn't really offer any resolution besides "cutting our time short". I told her I don't want that because IF I had found another hotel, check-in wouldn't be until 3:00; it just didn't make any sense. All I asked was that when advertising, take "pool" off the amenities.
