#103 Bottom Floor
1) I was very happy with room. Room was clean, spacious for 3 people, 2 beds (2 adults & teen)
2) Pool hours great 8am-11pm (unheard of). Pool area clean, Nice picnic area. Clean grounds.
3) All Front desk reps I came in contact with very friendly (sorry, wish I had all their names), asked for extra towels and received right away, recommendations for dinner. Accommodated room request for bottom floor due to hubby's health issues
4) Location great. Close to Old Town, Sea World (what I needed) 10 minutes or so to both
5) Never a problem parking close to room, even with some remodeling going on (I believe roofing) and a few spots taken by equipment
1) I'm a older female & I was with my G-daughter & I will say pool in back of hotel and not a lot of lighting at night 9:30pm (this is when I used pool) was a little sketchy/scary when walking back and forth.
2) Parking Fee $15.00 a day (should we really need to pay for parking when already paying to stay at hotel)?
3) Vending Machines - Needs to be cheaper for convenience. I tend to overpack so I don't have to purchase items (meds, snacks, ect), but if in need of something, would be nice to not have to pay 3x as much then a regular store. Small bottle of Apple Juice was I believe $4-5.00 for like 8-12oz, I can get a 64oz at Walmart for less than $4.00.
**Though no fault of the hotel, but to mention for other travelers. This hotel is right off the freeway, so there is ALOT of road noise. Didn't bother me, but incase you are wanting something quite, however, I did NOT notice any other outside Hotel noise from rooms around me, no doors slamming, no people talking.

Everything was good.
7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Easy parking
2 exits were blocked off, so there was only 1 exit/entrance available so that caused a little traffic, and we were not told about the blocked exits.

Motel was positioned well in San Diego, close to all the places to see.
The room felt tired and not 100% clean, although this was probably due to the old furniture rather than the cleanliness of it.
