We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for one, and we debated leaving before the first night set in

Location was very good.

The landscape around the cottage was very unkept. Weeds, bald spots, toys all over, looked like it is never or seldom cared for. The bar-b-que was dirty to the point that we didn't want to use it. The room was clean, but several spiders appeared in the corners. Very small accommodations. It gave us a dumpy feeling.
