We will not be back unless there are major renovations done to facility.

The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. Staff was friendly.

Lots of wear and tear on the building, prevalent water damage, baseboards were severely water damaged, could see mudding and taping on ceiling in bathroom from previous water damage. No chair in room. Lack of amenities.

Our stay was super comfortable and we were happy with our stay.

Property is excellently located. Linens and bed were clean and comfortable.

The bathroom and sink area needs updating as there was black mildew in the tub and the sink was chipped and worn. There was also no extra furniture or anyplace to put luggage. The parking was troublesome but it was Saturday night and people were improperly parked and it was difficult to find a spot.

Great location, Great Communication, with great views,with a good price

The Drake was in a Great location walking distance to walking trails, eating shop,food. The staff where very nice. We stayed for our 40th wedding anniversary with friends also celebrating their 40th. They surprised us with a very nice card that they made and some amazing treats not Only chocolates but also some amazing trail mix, and local Beer for they Hubbies and Cider for the ladies. Just couldn’t believe it, truly went over and above!!!!THANKS FOR HELPING MAKE OUR ANNIVERSARY SO SPECIAL

I don’t even like to bring this up, because how nice our stay way, with staff and location. It could use a little TLC (TENDER LOVING CARE) A bit of paint outside would do wonders. With that being said our rooms where very clean!

The hotel looked a little out dated but the room was nicely remodeled

The property was vary close to the Town Center and all the restaurants and shops

The view from our window was amazing, we had the 3 sister pick in the front of us

Disappointed

The location was fantastic and the staff very friendly.

No AC on a very hot summer day. The room was not clean. There was a layer of dust on everything and a half eaten granola bar along the wall. Quite disappointed and will definitely not stay here again at this price. No value for the money paid.

Drake is very tired gem ( great location) needing a really good polish.

There was no bkfst included which at the price we paid per night was inexcusable. The room itself was clean & modern, freshly remodeled but the hotel exterior was pathetic. Filthy landing carpets, peeling paint, torn outdoor carpet on our balcony, the whole exterior of this hotel needs a huge redo.

This hotel’s exterior needs a huge remodel and cleanup. Our room itself, once inside, was great. Beautiful view of mountains & river.

Not a hotel for relaxing

The location was great.

That our room was off the bar and there was a band playing, and we were there for relaxing girls get away, we were not into drinking. We were there for hiking and sightseeing, and all of us did not get any sleep, and when we told the stuff about it, they didn't really care, they just said oh, that's what it is. We're not a hotel for if you want 3 logs. It's not a hotel for relaxing. And the parking was horable.. Was not an enjoyable Definitely will not recommend the drake hotel

Disappointing

Staff was accommodating and helpful with Rm issues. Staff offered diff Rm.

Music from the pub/outdoor patio speaker left outside was blaring until we complained at 1:30am. I could hear all the lyrics from the Rm and Shazam picked up every track. Tried calling on duty manager after office hours and got no response/call back from the voice mail. Thankfully when we went to inform bar staff, he unplugged the outdoor patio speaker, so we could finally sleep. Found Rain Water from leaky window and that dripped down the walls inside, looks like it’s been an issue for a while since paint was already peeling.

We would not recommend Drake Inn to friends or family. Very expensive for the quality of the accommodation !

Patio door hard to open. Very tired! Needs to be upgraded ! Not enough lights Hair dryer got hot very quickly, afraid it might catch fire ! Not enough plugs !

Dirty room. linen wasn’t clean, garbage on the floor and the washroom was dirty. The bar next door is way too loud and people sitting outside partying until midnight

Our stay is wonderful

The location is very accessible, it is near the center of Canmore. The view from the balcony of the hotel is perfect. The rocky mountain can be seen from the balcony. The price per night is also affordable.

No available microwave inside the hotel but there is one available in the lobby, we just did not notice because we arrived a little bit late in the evening.

Overall, it was great and would definitely stay again. Maybe next time, the building is updated.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. I actually overslept. The view from the balcony was as expected. It was pretty grand. The location was perfect because it walking distance or a bike ride away from everything.

The outer building of the hotel needs TLC and cleaning. My balcony sliding door was hard to open and close. The room walls were too plain. It needs a bit of decor, color, or photos. The office closed at 4 pm when I stayed there. It was a bit of an inconvenience because I wanted to heat a snack as I relaxed. The coffee machine was missing the coffee pot, so I was not able to use it.

The Drake was an excellent base of operations for my ice climbing trip.

The best thing about the Drake Inn is the location, especially if you’re there for an extended stay. Everything you need is within walking distance. Snd the views of the mountains are spectacular.

The pub is very loud on weekend nights. And the hotel is a tad run down.

Extra Special Birthday

The care for my partner and her birthday was awesome. The hotel helped me in ordering a 12 piece cupcake pull apart cake from Safeway. Loved the view too.

Nothing was wrong with this hotel.

The room was a little dirty, specially behind the beds and night tables (super dusty and there were papers on the floor); you could tell they didn’t vacuumed some areas. One of the sheets had stains.
