Value for the price is there, just not quite up to Sandman standards.

Reasonable for the price. Staff were very friendly. Good location.

Just a little more effort on the housekeeping would improve everything. One cup for coffee, no tea, two pillows on one bed, one on the other. Lacking in small things that were annoying more than absolutely necessary.

Value for money yes, good location.

location is good, but homeless in Kamloops an issue making it not entirely safe place

Lighting in the room was non existent, bathroom slightly updated with paint but the rest was not. Bathroom toilet seat loose, silicone around tub needs to be redone, tub did not drain well.

I reserved a queen room, paid for a queen room but got a single double in a very a tiny room. Noisy and outdated facility.

Would never recommend for seniors or disabled

When we booked online the listing said registration was wheelchair accessible and in fact the listing said TOTALLY accessible (in all caps in the listing). When we arrived there were stairs to get into the building and stairs inside the building to reach reception. When Doug asked for wheelchair access, we were shown a delivery ramp at the back of the building in the alley beside the garbage dump and staff smoking area that led into the basement area. I was totally humiliated and broke down crying. We asked for our money back so I didn't have to become a second class citizen and enter through a garbage shoot, but they refused to give me my money back stating that it was a third party booking. We did use the back door delivery ramp which was ABSOLUTELY not intended as a wheelchair ramp. It was not up to code and was far too steep and dangerous for disability use. In order to use this door we had to find a staff member to open and close it for us so we couldn't even leave the room without hunting someone down to exit. I was trapped in the room. They gave us a room that was accessible they said. I couldn't even fit a wheelchair or walker between the bed and the dresser so although the door was wider, I couldn't get further into the room. I have pictures of everything. The whole room smelled of sewage. They switched us to a larger room in the below ground level. The toilet was low and there were no hand rails. The tub was too dangerous to use without rails so I had to wash up at the sink. I had to sit on the bed the entire evening watching wheels drive past the window in the alley because that was the only view and I was unable to leave because of the effort needed to get someone to let me out. CERTAINLY a manager could have over written this third party refund issue. We want our money back and we are moving forward with our documentation to the BC Hotels Association with a formal complaint. We have photos of everything.

Best place I found to stay in Kamloops for the price bracket

Nice, cozy place. Good place for the money. Restaurant right across parking lot.

Only issue I had was the bathroom size, very small but it is an older building but was nice place to stay.

not comfortable, but cheap and convenient.

easy to find. right off the highway. restaurant on site for convenience.

no elevator. dennys wasn’t attached. had to pick up room service. no hot water in shower. shower head was broken and spraying in all directions. window cracked in the middle of the night. bed was hard. chair was the most comfortable thing in the room. toiler was very low to the ground like a child’s toilet. very small room.

I felt dirty.

The sheets and towels looked clean

The rug is old and looked dirty, it was not vacuumed properly or at all.could see obvious dirt. Dust was visible on the lamps so it makes a person think everything was not wiped down and cleaned. The baseboards were dirty. Lesson learned, I will definitely check out the room before I sleep in it! I used the complimentary sanitizer to wipe things down before I used them and put the complimentary blanket on the floor so My bare feet didn’t touch the carpet.

I would stay there again,

proximity to a restaurant. proximity to relatives living in Kamloops. Front desk crew, (Joshua) and associates were quick, polite, very pleasant.

Stairs, and parking places for those with mobility issues, ( handicap)

The bathroom could have been cleaner and it would have been nice if the room garbage would have been picked up part way through the 4 day stay.

Glad the room was clean and bed was very comfy

No one told me breakfast was available. Dope smokers made the place reek! My stay would have been much nicer had i not had to smell Marijuana all night long. The counter person was very kind and helpful. My room was very clean, thank you! Parking was not good and the poor homeless lady camped next to my car was absolutely heartbreaking. Sure wish I could have gotten a better rate as I was there for medical tests. I did tell the very nice young mN working at the front desk that was the purpose of my stay.

Fine for a night travelling through.

Friendly staff, decent location, clean room.

A little dated, tap faucet was loose, bed was fairly comfortable but dipped in the middle (so you rolled into the middle).

The staff were friendly, I liked that it was next door to Denny’s. We stayed in a regular room on the 1st floor.

Bathroom was tiny! By that I mean, You almost have to pull your pants down and back in tiny! Sink was not in the bathroom, it was right by the main door to the room.

No night staff, parties in the hallways after hours, no sleep. noisy no bed lights to read the heating system is crazy loud, noisy, first comes on and blows cold air

Ok but Wouldn’t stay again

Not much

The location immediately made me feel anxious. To be fair all down towns of major cities are a bit sketchy so mostly just that. I booked this specifically because it was pet friendly - but it never gave me a spot to select I was bringing a pet so i called and she had to move my room to the pet room: when I arrived I was shuffled downstairs which felt like a basement and was creepy.
