We had a really nice stay and it wasn't very expensive compared to a hotel. We were in the log house and not the main inn. Both have been very tastefully refurbished and had lots of quirky decor. A little off the beaten path but it was quiet and comfy and you felt nestled in the country. A wonderful place to unplug. Great views of the saltwater estuary with lots of birds and wildlife. Very large rooms. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. What more could one ask for. A+
No real complaints. Its in the woods surrounded by water so plenty of mosquitos if you want to sit out by the shore but that is hardly the host's fault. Everything is a trade off. When you want to experience a quiet natural setting you don't get to pick and choose each and everything that comes with that.

I loved that it was a historic home with lots of history. Also it was very close to confederation bridge to P.E.I. So slipped over there for a tour
It made no difference to me but washroom was cosy which is to be expected in a very old home.

The property was beautiful and well kept. The room was quaint and very clean. Great view of the sunset over the water.
The mattress was very firm.

Lovely well kept Inn, accommodating staff,
Web site could be clearer that meals are an option, after 6 pm no staff onsite.
