A beautiful quiet relaxing getaway that did not disappoint!

The stunning views, hot tub, private, well equipped kitchen for cooking as well as a bbq.Beautifully decorated.

Nothing really but if I had to say one thing, it would be that the driveway is steep. (no issues though)

Amazing hosts, super comfortable house and good location.

The hosts were very responsive and organized, all the questions were answered to the point, and all concerns were addressed timely and efficiently. The house was clean and nicely decorated, with every detail thoroughly thought through to make the stay of the guests absolutely problem-free. Anything we thought of (and didn't think of) was there, from kitchen pots, pans, wine glasses, regular and plastic for hot tub use, spices, and zip log bags to air fresheners, hand cream, shower gel, shampoos in the bathroom, and even robes to be used for the hot tub. The electric outlets are conveniently available around the house to allow plugging a laptop or charging a phone no matter what room you are in. The hot tub with a beautiful view of the océan and breathtaking sunset was definitely a bonus after a day of hiking or kayaking.

I can't think of any serious issues, but the bedding being synthetic was very hot to sleep in. Not a huge deal but some natural fabric sheets would probably be more pleasant.

Adorable cottage with fantastic sea views

We had such a fantastic getaway at the Blue Cottage. The view over the water (and sunset) from the hot tub is absolutely wonderful. I also enjoyed sitting on the couch drinking my coffee watching the water through the big plate glass window at the front of the house. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with, and checked several times to make sure we had everything we need. They are the ideal "B&B" hosts, where they've put a lot of thought into what you need in the home to have a good trip, and they left lots of little signs that help you figure out how everything works (fireplace, tv remotes, recycling, etc.) We didn't use the kitchen at all, but the rest of the house was very comfortable. It was nicely heated with main heater, aux fireplace and heated floors in the bathroom. The location worked well for us, quite close to Sechelt but everything on the coast is pretty close together so we visited all over while we were there. The driveway is quite steep, but I appreciate that the hosts put out a lighted sign so it's easier to see from the roadway.

The bedroom doesn't have much floor space for suitcases, so be aware. There is a set of drawers you can use, but I don't like unpacking my suitcase on a short trip.

From the moment we arrived it was an awesome getaway. Quiet nights with the hot tub and sunsets.

The location was perfect. easy access to Gibsons and Sechelt. close to the ocean and great views from the hot tub.

Everything was perfect. zero negative comments.

Best Blue Cottage Ever

The cottage was lovely and clean. Covid precautions were taken very seriously. The hottub was a lovely addition - very clean and beautiful setting. Communication was great.

Nothing - it was all great. If I was to say anything it would be that it could be a little chilly in the sitting area. It looked like new windows may be coming though which would solve the problem.

Exceptional

Wonderful cozy cottage. Loved the chic decor. Kitchen well stocked with all necessities to cook your own meals. Bed was super comfy. Best part was the hot tub at sunset. Only setback was the cottage location next to the road. I can imagine it would be very busy in the summer. All in all it was a wonderful 3 day break and I think we would come back.

What we expected based on write up. Is a good location and we would stay again.

Great location. Provided a binder full of helpful info for everything from restaurants to hikes to how to work the TV. Very comfy bed. Very well stocked (dishes/pots) kitchen.

Very old windows in living room area made it a little cool. Also driveway was very steep.
