Good location and nice staff

The ocean view is brilliant. The staff is super nice. The staff is very helpful and caring.

Some facilities are not working, like the bed lamp, stove, the heater has a bit of burning smell

Spot on at Spot On Porpoise Bay

The location is excellent, The room was immaculate. I loved the bathroom mirror with its built-in de-fogger after shower. The hotel employs great staff, which went above and beyond to help.

I stayed on the lower floor (my choice) and could easily hear late night conversations outside. Bathtub was quite slippery, so could use a rubber mat or something similar for safety.

Sechelt getaway

We arrived on the Island late morning and intended to go on a hike for the day so we stopped by the hotel to ask if they had a safe place to store our luggage until check in later that day. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. He had 1 room that was ready and allowed us to check in earlier. I was very happy that we did not have to worry about our luggage being inside our vehicle while on our hike.

The room & bathroom were nice you could tell they had been updated recently, however in the large shower there was no shelf or place to set your toiletries on.

Exceptional

There was nothing not to like ..everything was as close to perfect as is possible...beginning with my first phone call to the front desk and ending at check out process. There is no need to look anywhere else for accomodation if you are planning a trip to Sechelt.

As stated...liked EVERYTHING....NOTHING TO NOT LIKE

Very nice reception greeting. Comfy bed with beautiful water view on 2nd floor.. Rooms very nice, mine had a kitchenette.

Inside shower. base trim coming off. Pillows too full for my liking. Option for feather pillow would be nice.

great facility, does have some security issues though ….

was a beautiful facility , very clean , rooms were modern .

hotel rooms have some security issues… hotel room door does not lock properly when leaving the room . you have to really pull it shut and make sure it clicks for it to lock . hotel door only has one medium lock on it …. door does not have peep hole ( to see who’s at door ) , or chain on it .. I noticed this when some sketchy dude knocked on my door in the afternoon looking for his “ friend “ he could of been casein the place …..

would definitely come in the summer

looked recently renovated and was close to the pub.

I’d probably change rooms from garden to ocean view. it was a little bit noisy in the morning from the traffic.

Nice stay.

Our room was newly renovated and clean. We had a King room with water view. We saw lots of ducks and gulls from our window in our room. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms we're a little small and having a balcony would have been great.

nice view but rough neighborhood

The marina/bay was right behind the hotel with no obstruction of view - wonderful!

The hotel is being renovated and there was quite a bit of light and hall odours (food etc) coming from under the hotel room door. Although the convenience of a bar area right next door is clear, it renders the neighbourhood a bit rough, as someone had broken the mirror of my borrowed vehicle, and left without a note.

only wish we could’ve stayed another night or two

the beds were so comfy, it was a great price, ferry issues getting back to Powell River and didn’t get there until after eleven pm ,and staff met us at the motel

You can hear people in the halls and rooms most of the night. There wasn't a coffee maker.

Our day was perfect as it was close to Hospital and shopping mall. The waterfront view spectacular.

We liked the waterfront view and all the marine action, seaplanes, Canada Geese, ducks, the Blue Herron, and the quietness with privacy, all while having a libation. I liked that the Motel was only 3 minutes from St. Mary's Hospital.

Missing lawn chairs to enjoy the view outside. Missing a walk-in shower for disabled people in the downstairs room. There was no elevator for disabled persons on the second floor, and there was lots of garbage on the lawn near the waterfront.
