We loved our stay here. Waking up to the panoramic views of the ocean was exactly what we were looking for. The wraparound deck is huge. The owner was great with communication and very flexible with our changing travel plans. We were very grateful to have found this place!

Too many cooking gadgets and when more than one is used it short circuits...not fun...would have loved a plain simple stove.
Too many decorative items everywhere and no place to put your things in the bedroom or bathroom.
The table provided to eat on broke
Basically...too much stuff everywhere...keep it simple and clear.

Our stay at the Devine Beachside house was everything we had hoped for and more. Listening to the waves and enjoying to views made for the perfect escape for my son and I. The place was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, and we enjoyed many hours on the deck soaking in the sunshine and fresh sea air. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beachside home.

Amazing views from the apartment and the wrap around balcony. The apartment is very comfortable for 2 couples, with a double bedroom on each side of the unit. We loved eating dinner on the deck before sunset and looking over the un-interrupted views of the water. We even saw seals! Check-in was easy and the apartment has everything you need, except that the washing machine was broken making laundry a bit of a pain.

The unit we stayed in was all that we could have wished it to be. The location, right on the Salish Sea, was so very beautiful. The weather was perfect for our 4 day get away, so much so that we left the windows open at night and fell asleep listening to the waves, and then waking to lovely sunshine shining on the water.
The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed, from dishes, pots and small appliances in the kitchen, to a great audio system, and also satellite tv.
We were fortunate that this location not only gave us wonderful views of the sunrise but also gorgeous sunsets.
Anndee was a perfect hostess, so very easy to talk to and she gave us helpful tips on local dining spots and attractions
My husband and I both felt that this was a very special place, and that we will be returning in the future.

Wonderful Getaway
Anndee is a wonderful host, as were her family. The place was spotless. We were thrilled with the location, right on the beach. Wall to wall windows as well as a large outdoor deck, meant that we were able to enjoy the ocean, seals, boats, birds, swimming etc. We were there for Canada Day and enjoyed a fantastic fireworks display put on by a neighbour. Thank you Anndee for a terrific holiday.

The suite itself lives up to its expectations: it's located beachside, features fantastic water views and is immaculately clean (aside from a soiled sofa) - we loved every minute of our stay here. However, the process before and after our stay has been frustrating, disappointing, and overall, stressful.
We booked our stay and sent through full payment via bank transfer on the Monday the week of our stay. However, we never received confirmation of payment or check-in information until 3 days later, the night before our arrival date. Normally, waiting 3 days isn't a big deal - unless it's the night before your stay and you need to decide whether you should still take the ferry over to the island. At this point, we had reached out to the owner via phone and email several times but received no response. We even had to call VRBO itself to confirm our booking was active and that this was a legitimate owner who hadn't run off with our money.
Post-stay has also been a frustrating experience. Even though the owner wasn't around during our stay, she informed us 3 days after our departure that she would be withholding part of our deposit for the extra "cleaning" that was involved; we left the suite in the same condition we found it and completed more than what was required in her check-out procedures. We were told she would assess upon her return, but 2 weeks later, we haven't heard back. So beware of "extra cleaning" fees that may pop up after your stay.

Our hosts were generous in sharing their lovely backyard with the children, who played in their wading pool with their water toys every afternoon. The house is on the beach - and though the beach is very pebbly (bring water shoes!), the views, the aquatic life, and waves are right in front of you. We enjoyed watching a pair of bald eagles soar back and forth across the sky in front of us every day, and the girls especially enjoyed collecting rocks and finding crabs/starfish on our daily walks. All in all this was a perfect week on the west coast! Thank you Anndee for making it so comfortable.

We just returned from a week at this lovely home and had a wonderful time. The space is very open and bright, and remained cool throughout the day, despite the temperature soaring outside. Being right on the beach, it is the perfect spot for taking a quick dip (or a long soak) in the ocean. Pictures don't do this home justice. We were so happy when we arrived to walk into a light, spacious and spotless holiday rental. The view was wonderful and our children loved exploring up and down the beach. A friendly little town nearby just added to the experience. We would love to return next year!

What a Gem!
My boyfriend, his son and I stayed at Divine for four days just as the weather turned to real summer. Andee was the perfect host. The space is the top floor of her house, but with a completely separate entrance. When we first went up to the suite all we saw was water and sky! Such a bright and comfortable place to stay. Two bedrooms are very cleverly made private by walls of sliding doors and living space in between. We went for hikes at Skookumchuk Narrows and Smugglers Cove and popped into all the little marinas and communities on a very scenic drive. We walked the beach out front of the guest house and watched the sunset every day. The eagles were remarkably close as well. Our 12 year old swam at the beach right in front of the house. We all had such a lovely time and will certainly return. I whole heartedly recommend the Divine Beach House.

quiet and relaxing
my wife and I, with our 2 children stayed here for 3 nights. After 2 weeks of hectic holiday fun, we found the house to be perfect for beautiful ocean views, serene and comfortable to relax in. The kids had fun playing on the shoreline and dipping in the water. With town minutes away and hikes nearby, we wished we could have stayed longer. The decor and furnishings were homely and spacious.

Beachfront Luxury!
This lovely holiday suite is on the top floor of the owner's amazing oceanfront home and is located a short drive from the pretty town of Sechelt. We had 3 wonderful days there last w/e and hope to go again later this summer. The suite is sunny, spacious, has enormous front windows, is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Our bed was extremely comfortable, indeed the entire set up was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy beach walks, BBQ's and cocktails on the deck. I could go on and on about the view but I'll just say that it is simply breathtaking from morning to night! The hosts are wonderful people, kind and thoughtful ~ providing us with many extra's including a ride to the Saturday Farmer's market and to the float plane when it was time to leave. The Sunshine Coast is a delightful holiday destination and The Devine Beachside provides the perfect place to explore from!

Really nice place!
We've stayed for an extendend weekend and it was really a nice and pleasant stay. To wake up and have an almost 180 degree view of the ocean was just amazing. The layout of the place works well - there are two bedrooms separated from the main area by "doors" made out of slding panels. This makes the place nicely open while allowing you to close off the bedrooms for the night. We've just been unlucky with the weather ... not much sunshine on Sunshine Coast :) ... at least for us.

Peaceful getaway!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Devine Beachside. It was such an amazing place. Every morning we woke to a panoramic view of the ocean and enjoyed dinner on the deck listening to the sound of the rippling waves. We headed to the Sunshine Coast for some mountain biking and well needed rest and that was what we got. This suite is located in a great spot for biking, but if it's kayaking and beachcombing you seek, then they have that too. We would definitely stay again and next time we would bring the kids!

Best Rental on the Sunshine Coast!
What a great time my wife and I had at the Devine Beach House! It had everything we needed. Wonderful views! Wonderful open concept home! Wonderful accommodations! Wonderful owners and service! Wonderful relaxation.
We biked on the local trails during the day and hung out on the Devine decks for breakfast and dinner. Took strolls on the beach and enjoyed the seals playing in the ocean.
We didn't want to leave.
