Room was Good.
Breakfast was Great! Always Great! That's why we stay Here.
One of the highlights of my stays at Best Western is the indoor Pools, I LOVE to Swim. It's a Must. I appreciate that it was not freezing cold water.
The Girl at the lobby was super nice, as was the whole staff, extra friendly, we LOVE that!
The landscaping was super nice........They had a waterfall! ;)
I'm not a fan of mute colors or minimalist, just my opinion..........
I would have given it a better score, but no info for the area in the room, no info of hotel in the room, no Bible. Not even a card to thank the staff.........Nothing........The bathroom was a little cramped for two to get ready in the morning.......
The reason we stay here & NOT at Newport BW because THEY don't feed you breakfast, they have a wine tasting bar instead & kids can't do that & we don't Drink........And they charge A LOT More :(
And We appreciate the POOL was warm water! the BW in Woodburn has Freezing Cold water, I could not get in it & it was empty our whole visit!........
The front desk in the morning when we left at 9:45 had a sign saying drop your cards in the box.....no one came out.........when we arrived there was no one there, but they must have a camera somewhere......because they called out & said "Be there in a minute"........I'm not sure I like that....we did come late at 9:30..........
And I'm not a fan of mute colors or minimalist, just my opinion..........Browns, Oranges, Grays :(
I would be nice if it had a view of the beach....course they can't do anything about that..........that's why we gave it a good price review & not Great....

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. It was more than just yogurt and pastries and was very much appreciated. The food items were frequently re-stocked and the countertops/tables were cleaned frequently. The room had a nice bathroom and good beds. It was a bonus to have a mini-fridge and microwave oven, as well as extra seating space to include a small dining table and separate workspace with power supply options.
Two or three staff people certainly were not pleasant or eager to greet us when we approached the desk. This was not a universal experience as there were two ladies who were much more pleasant and worked in the evening as I recall. The others - a male and female who worked the day shift - were much less friendly and accommodating. Also, the parking was less than satisfactory. Guests with large moving trucks/trailers were allowed to take up multiple parking spaces leaving no room for vehicles that arrived later in the evening. Trucks with trailers or large vans should be required to park off property on a side street or via some other accommodation.

It looked like the interior had recently been remodeled. The inside was clean. Although the hotel seemed to have a lot of visitors, it remained quiet and calm. The complimentary breakfast was very well organized with a lot of food choices. Felt newly remodeled and was very clean.
The exterior of the building looked run down. The parking lot needed repaving. The front entry had garbage overflowing the garbage can. We were relieved that the inside did not match the outside.
