The hotel is on the beach and it's easy to get a complimentary chair and umbrella from the staff. The hotel is across the street from the Bal Harbour Mall which has the most exclusive stores and some great restaurants. The staff is friendly. A good place if you want easy access to the beach in a moderately priced hotel.
The rooms are clean but dated. The bar and restaurant are mediocre at best.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The on-site restaurant staff were very nice and the food was good. Loved the location and access to the beach!
I paid for a full ocean view room with balcony but was disappointed that my room was on the second floor overlooking the peeling, poor conditioned rooftop of the hotel snack bar. Also, the balcony is shared and there are no screen doors so you are unable to leave your balcony door ajar to hear the wonderful ocean waves. Also, there was no fan in the restroom. Additionally after a couple days of using the same coffee cups and glasses, I asked for clean ones and was told that I would have to ask the restaurant as the hotel could not give me clean ones. What?
