This resort is definitely 5 stars plus. The decor is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I highly recommend an ocean view room. Amazing! The private beach is an added bonus.
What truly sets this resort apart is the staff and service they provide. They go above and beyond! I was celebrating my 50th and while Slogane was walking us to the restaurant with her beautiful voice sang Happy Birthday. Then at Atlantikos Matthew, Jacques, Julilet, Prince, and Donna sang again and provided excellent service. Iggy who helped set up our chairs on the beach took the time to take a birthday picture and frame it for all of us. The pool staff was absolutely amazing. Thank you to Angel, Michael, and Vicky for making sure we always had drinks and fun! Thank you to the other pool staff as well: Daniela, Mia, and Liz Andrea, and Luis. This was my second visit and once again Juan took amazing care of my sisters and I. Thank you Jaun. The bar staff is absolutely phenomenal. A special thank you to Sergey and Amilacarr for making me feel so special on my birthday. I appreciate you both very much. Thank you to Riley and Carla for your amazing service as well. Dinner at BH Prime was delicious and Carlos provided great service. Rebecca and Laura Ortega at the front desk made sure every day we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. Laura even went out of her way to get my sister nail glue. Thank you Laura. I apologize if I missed anyone. Every staff member we encounter was fantastic. The resort and beach are beautiful, but the staff is the reason my sisters and I will return. Thank you!

The hotel has a very nice beach with comfortable cabanas and it is conveniently located if you plan to do some shopping at the Bal Harbour Shops.
The rooms are extremely shabby and unkempt. The carpets are stained, the curtains are grimy, the bed linens are washed beyond repair, and the bathrobes have holes in them. This isn't a 5-star hotel, let alone a 4-star, 3-star place maximum. And it certainly doesn't offer the service and comfort you'd expect from a St. Regis chain.
