Great view, close to Le Forillon

All bookings in Gaspe were full so we booked out here in Cap des Rosiers. Turned out to be a great choice. Close to the lighthouse and right on the water, you can watch the sunrise over the water in the morning. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenient parking right outside the room. Very close to north entrance of Le Forillon, so it was perfect for an early hike ahead of the crowds.

There is no place to eat nearby. Nearest places are 20-30 minute drive--except for the restaurant in the Le Forillon park, which closes at 6PM.

This is a wonderful trip in Gaspe living in this motel.

The staffs are very very nice! Luckily met the owner. The owner is very very nice and friendly and supportive. And the location is super good if you are for visiting the national park. 5 mins of driving to the north or south entrance of the national park. I booked the room of the river view. That is fantastic especially in the sunny days! And in the night you could see the Milky Way upper in the sky when it is sunny. All in all, this is a surprisingly good time.

The room is not so big. And the motel has no washing machines and dryers. So you might need to find other laundry services nearby.

Great view, needs updating

It was all about the location for us…. on route to the east coast for us. If you are looking for an amazing sunrise and being on the water, this is the perfect location

It needs to be updated. The mattress were lumpy and extremely short toilets… when is the last time they made green toilets with matching green bathtubs. The toilet did not flush properly and we had to go looking for a plunger from the office.

Very decent motel close to Forillon National Park

Don't look further if you want to stay close to Forillon National Park. It's hardly a 5 minutes drive. This is a decent, clean motel with beautiful sea view. Friendly host who recommended a few places to eat. I definitely recommend Cafe de L'Anse for breakfast and dinner.

The room is compact compared to other motels, but still spacious though.

Nice stay at this motel .

I chose the location to be close to the departure of the whale cruise ( 15 km away ) . Quick Check in . No check out ( just drop your keys in the key box ) . Nice view on Saint Lawrence Bay. Close attractions ( phares , phorillon Park , phorillon fort ) . Heating in the room is excellent .

Fridge in room 35 is not working . It is not hotel , it is only motel .

Wonderful crashing surf....fairly updated. Very clean.

No meals...dining room closed due to covid.

No restaurants near....lots closed after Labor day.

If you want a basic and clean room at a great price, this is it.

This was a basic motel room, very clean and very good value for the money. The best thing for me was that mirrors and electric outlets were numerous and well located (unlike in many more expensive rooms).

Nothing really - we knew what we were getting and this was very good.

The location was excellent. Lovely sun rise over the St. Lawrence R. Staff was very helpful in providing information about a place for dinner.

There was no breakfast available due to covid.

Great spot!

Location was fantastic, looking out over the ocean. Check in was easy, staff was very knowledgeable. Place was a bit older but spotless and comfortable.

Perfect location and spotless clean

This motel is wonderful! The room is spotless clean and big enough for a couple. There’s kitchenette and a little fridge with frizzer. The mountain view rooms face the road, but there’s not much traffic at night, so it won’t be noisy, and you can watch the sunset from the window. The seaside view rooms are on the opposite, so if the sky is clear, you can watch sunrise right from your room. There are snack bars close by and lots of attractions, trails and Forillon National Park within short drive. Highly recommended!

Great service, amazing views and friendly staff.

The location was excellent and is why we selected this motel.

Even though there is a steady breeze we could have used air conditioning on our last day. It got quite uncomfortable .
