Clean, breakfast was really good, they spruced up the eggs,staff was very helpful even the night front desk person who was on a computer screen. I would stay there again. Oh, and it was close to shoreline amphitheater.
Not sure I loved there not being an in person front desk person. The people above us were very noisy at 230am and I would have liked to ask someone to go and ask them to be quiet. It happens at hotels, but it felt weird not to have someone on site.

Great location. Exterior design and Spanish style are well done. Closed and gated parking structure.
The room was small and had a complex layout that made it awkward. Kitchen was inside the closet which ment food odors travels to clothes. Low water pressure in the shower. Check in staff was slow and made me literally run to my car to get through the parking gate before it closed. Patio is not private at all. The unit had a Murphy bed that was uncomfortable, had no headboard with a large gap to the wall, and sloped down at an angle.
