Stairs are hazardous,
Need a common area other than the check in for later flights when you have to check out and wait
In the very small boring lobby. A.quiet place to read or make phone calls would be excellent.

Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites near the Edmonton Airport was good. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was well maintained, and the staff were friendly. The location is also very convenient, particularly if you’re travelling through the airport.
The biggest disappointment was breakfast. For a hotel of this type, we found the breakfast to be below average in both quality and selection, and it was even more disappointing that breakfast costs extra. With so many comparable hotels in the area including a good hot breakfast in the room rate, paying additional money for a breakfast that wasn’t particularly impressive really hurt the overall value of the stay. Other guests have raised similar concerns about breakfast not being included and the value of the restaurant.

No breakfast included so we could do what we wanted. The lobby was lovely.
The room was small, the bathroom door automatically closed and bathroom had no fan, the light fixtures in it were rusty. The water was cool - had to have it to full hot to be close to comfortable. The coffee service was nonexistant. I would expect there to be more than one powder creamer for the coffee when there's no breakfast included. The bed frame was incredibly loud and squeaked with any kind of movement.
