Lovely retro style property in an ideal location for exploring LA landmarks. Close proximity to the farmers market and a good walk to Beverly Hills. Does what it says on the tin a 3 star property.
Parking charges - expensive however it seems this is common in California!
Air con did not work throughout our stay - we were provided with a fan.
Room cleaning was weekly though staff were happy to provide if clean towels were requested .
Pool was not heated .

Really liked the feel of the property and the retro decor was super cool. The cafe next door was brilliant and also a very easy walk to the Farmers Market and The Grove. Beverly Centre was a reasonable walk away too.
Lack of decent public transport so you had to rely on Ubers, but that is LA in general and not the hotel.

I was a bit worried before arrival due to previous reviews, but everything was fine - the elevator was working and the frontdesk staff was very friendly. Swingers Diner in the same building had good reasonably priced meals. This was a perfect stay for our layover between flight and cruise vacation.

Paper thin walls and floors. Bit old fashioned also, but dingy.
