We were booked but booking.com messed it up.
Ended up at the Grand. The staff at Departure Bay Motel were exceptional in helping sort out the problem, even though it wasn’t on them.

Staff was very helpful & accommodating. There was no plug for bathtub which they delivered to room. Bed was very comfortable as was bedding.
Room was small but great for one night stay & two people. (One queen bed))
Bathroom tub could use an update but was clean, so just an observation.
This is totally out of managements control so just a FYI.We had room #20 (next to & just outside of motel office) which is on corner of two busy streets. Car noise till midnight. The inside units are probably fine.

The location is 3 minutes from the ferry terminal, so perfect for our early morning ferry. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, I couldn’t fault his customer service. The bed was comfortable.
The property is an older motel that needs upgrading. The flooring was newer but the bathroom was old and small.
