The bed was very comfortable. I loved having the coffee station in the room. The balcony and view were absolutely perfect.
The bathroom needed to be cleaner especially the bathtub.

This motel is basic but the views are phenomenal. The sunset and sunrise look different every day, and we had such a wonderful time drinking coffee in bed and seeing whales over by quadra island.
The place is a bit tired but we really did enjoy our stay, and the management were lovely. We’d definitely stay again - the balcony was so amazing to sit on.
The kitchen was perfectly fine for cooking meals, and the fridge was a decent size.
Laundry facilities were a bonus!
We visited willow point, oyster pot holes, Englishman river, McIvor lake, cathedral grove, the museum… and Mikki’s for the best sushi (gluten free too!)

The room view was spectacular looking across the water toward Quadra Island and the mainland. It was a good base to travel to Elk Falls, the fish hatchery and other hiking options. We witnessed black bears at the fish hatchery feasting on salmon...
It was good value for the money.
