Good value with ample space for an overnight—and pet friendly!

Incredibly spacious room with a nice bathroom and comfy beds. The soaker tub was a great way to relax after a long drive. I appreciate that there is no extra fee for pets!

The building is starting to wear and could use a little upkeep, though this did not affect the cleanliness of our suite.

An uncomfortable and creepy place to stay in Rivière du Loup.

I didn’t like anything about the property.

The photos on the web were deceiving in that the property looked much nicer online than it actually was. No one was there to greet us, and the decor of the house was dark and bizarre. There were other guests staying who made a lot of noise. and the wifi pw was incorrect.

He really like the history of the place we really like that we were the only two there on a Thursday night would like to stay again sometime

There could have be more for breakfast than just a juice a bagel or a muffin or something would have been nice

It’s a great little find :)

I’m not sure what I think of the room in the basement because it’s difficult to open windows and I like to sleep when it’s colder but it was definitely quiet and very spacious

This is definitely our go-to place when we need a stop-over in this area.

Staff responded quickly to our needs. Very comfortable room with a huge bathroom and tub and we loved having kitchen facilities and dining room to eat in at our leisure. Loved the antique style. A huge bonus for us - and a necessity - we could bring our dog.

Bathroom needs a new paint job!

If I had been assigned a room on the second floor, the experience would have been ***** for sure!

The staff were great; a very nice restaurant was part of the Auberge, it was quiet, the bed was very comfortable.

The only things that could have made the stay more enjoyable was if I were not assigned a room in the basement. A room on an upper floor would likely have a nice view and feel less dark and confining.

A lovely stay.

We arrived tired and weary from a long drive. The hostess greeted us and oriented us to the house and showed us our room. We asked about reservations at the restaurant next-door and she indicated we could get a reservation later that evening. We were both recovering from colds and did not want to expose any of that other guests so she suggested that we could order something and have it delivered which we did. It was lovely to have soup delivered to us. The room was well appointed. Very spacious. we really enjoyed the clawfoot tub and the fireplace made the room especially cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

Very interesting venue.

The house is mabaged by the restaurant next door. Not the type of personal service you would expect from a B&B. Breakfast was in a box in the fridge.

it had a musty smell that aggravated my allergies. The layout of the bedroom was awkward. The staff was not attentive.

It provided a clean comfortable bed but We would not consider again.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable but we were a little surprised that our room was located in the basement of the building. View and outdoor sitting area left great room for improvement. Breakfast was tasty but cold in a box in the fridge with a single cup of coffee. No warmth to the experience at all.

Beautiful room in a lovely building. Far exceeded our expectations. Great value for money, and one of our favorite hotels on our road trip. Would definitely love to come back.

We wanted to stay on our return trip home but the timing just wasn't right. Next time!

The room was just fine for us (basement room) because we had our dog with us and it was quiet and cool and, of course, clean. Nothing fancy but just what we expected. And the dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent!

The "breakfast " was disappointing (cold, boxed lunch style, decaf coffee pod, cold croissant) but the muffin was excellent and was sufficient till we got a full caffeine coffee.
