The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, it was an above-average experience, a step above a standard hotel stay.
There are plenty of parking spaces, but since the hotel was very busy, finding a spot could be difficult. The staff were also a bit odd.

Good value. Vintage motel vibe. Kind staff. Waffle House and Mexican food both great.
Beds very hard. Pillows lumpy. People above us loud at 6 am. People talking outside our window late at night. Overall not much sleep. Pool was cold despite being in heat wave still too cold to get in. Not a walkable area. Wanted a decent cup of coffee. Nothing near by to walk too. It’s right off freeway so rooms facing it would be loud

I love this place. I travel a lot, and every time I go to San Diego I stay here. The staff at the front desk make you feel like family from the get-go. They are so sunny and kind, and go out of their way to be excellent. Highly recommend Kings Inn!
