Dawson City is not a big town, with very light traffic. Maybe in the summer at peak season it is different. So, the hotel and the surrounding are quiet and pleasant to get around.
The hotel keeps itself as clean as it can be, as there is mud out there and everywhere. The room is also clean and provide all the amenities. The shower and toilets all function nicely. There is a table and two chairs that can adequately serve as computer desk. And the front friendly and helpful.
The room has no USB outlet. If you don't have a plug if are stuck. Maybe the front desk can help you out.
The second major disadvantage is the lack of elevator. It is only one floor up, but for seniors you may have to ask for help.

Close to Front St by foot. Decent number of parking stalls. Rooms are big, and aren’t musty-smelling despite the potential age of the building
Not many amenities in room (coffee and coffee filter provided, but no kettle). Staff not very reassuring when something goes wrong (my credit card got skimmed before arriving into town, and they looked at me as if they would have to cancel the reservation - I had present successive alternatives to them to see if viable, rather than they tell me what my options are)
