Staff was so friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and parking is a great perk. Bed was comfy!! Location was incredible - so close to the beach, the fairgrounds, downtown, and the Harbour.

The room had a damp and musty smell that we couldn't get rid of. It wasn't horrible but it was noticeable.

The hotel was conveniently located for us. It was clean and comfortable and they had a complimentary breakfast. We were on a bike trip so happy to have a laundry room.

Unfortunately they were doing road construction during our stay but it all worked out.

Great location

10 minutes from down town Ventura and the beach.

6 / 10Average·Oct 2026

The staff was nice, the room was relatively quiet since it's next to the freeway and it was clean.

What I saw online and what I walked into were 2 different things. I thought this place was going to be pretty nice. Well, that's not what I walked into - it's similar to a Motel 6, but with a full breakfast that left plenty to be desired. They use a cleaning solution in the halls with a strong, unpleasant scent. We paid a good price for this place, about the same as other nice hotels, and I would have expected it to have been minimally of equal quality.
