The beds were extremely uncomfortable

It was convenient and accessible

The walls were very thin and I could hear the next door guest snoring

Location, the ocean view,& hiking trail.

The bathroom's ventilation fan is very noisy.

The mattress was very comfortable. I slept great! Great location though and great price. The outside of the hotel was cute, charming, and approachable, not overly fussy like some places in the area. Glad to have a fridge and a hot shower with good water pressure.

I wish the rooms were decorated differently. I think this place has SO much potential and would be so incredible with some all wood furniture that was not so giant/big/heavy (could even just be simple pine or antiques from thrift stores or FB marketplace, different table and chairs) and warmer lighting (the LED lighting was really awful). Or just decorated with the surrounding environment (the ocean! the bluffs! Sea Ranch architecture! Northern California!) in mind. But currently it screams brightly LED lit/gray fake wood plastic "redone" (i.e. charm removed) motel. The wooden door to the closet in the bathroom was the coolest part and hearkened to a previous era of salty pickled wood and ocean cabin vibes, start there! I'm gluten free and I don't think there were any gluten free options for breakfast. Although my partner went to look at the breakfast, I did not. But i heard everything was cisco packaged. I'd prefer fruit (apples oranges), nuts, yogurt, granola bars, still simple but a little closer to healthy. The walls were crazy thin, which I was ok with because I sleep through everything, but my partner had a hard time with the noise and didn't sleep well.
