Location in the area
At last minute, we were put in a room with an ocean view that turned out to be a special needs handicap room very small, and the blinds opened up in the bathroom and in the main room to a lanai next door of people staring in

Great location. On the edge of Waikiki so less hectic. More green. One block from the ocean. You can choose a room with a Diamond Head view which cannot be matched.
It is obviously old. And some rooms are not so nice. We asked for an upgrade once we got into our room. We had to pay for that upgrade but once we got there, we were very happy. Corner room with balcony, quiet AC.

Location and facilities were excellent, I wish I had more time to stay. It was convenient to have a parking lot close by
I don’t have a complaint

Close to the beach, zoo, aquarium and city bus.
Most of the time no cold water; only hot water in the tap. The room we rented didn't have any ventilation; to have fresh air you have to sleep with balcony door open, which may be too noisy for some people. Bath tub was pretty badly damaged and patched with something that looked like bandages. They kept leaving us with two sets of towels for three people.
