The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I stayed one of the elevators was down, which was a bummer, but obviously not something that they can control. The employees did a fantastic job of communicating what was going on, making sure people were able to get up to the rooms or back down to the lobby in as timely a manner as they could, and kept the flow of people moving. And during what was probably a stressful time for them, every employee I interacted with was friendly and patient and doing their best to make sure people staying were happy. The room was a decent size, especially for New York City and the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. The breakfast was pretty decent and had a lot of different options and the staff staffing the breakfast was very on top of things and quick to check on folks. You could not beat the location, it was very central to everything we were doing. It was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

I asked if there is a laundry room in the hotel and an employee told me yes (by text message). But then, the same employee told me the hotel doesn't have a laundry room. They should be more careful with the information provided to guests.

The location of this hotel is great.
This hotel has a FABULOUS staff, and honestly they are all super friendly, helpful and kind, but the hotel itself leaves a LOT to be desired. The bathroom is super small with nowhere to set anything, but the real kicker is that the hotel has a lot of floors, like 35 or something and they only have 2 elevators, that are both very hot and small that get very unsafely overcrowded, because every morning they close one of them for the cleaning people to use so you have 100's of people trying to go up and down using only 1 elevator. Sometimes it took over an hour to get from the 23rd floor to the lobby. Very frustrating. If you're young and in great shape to use the stairs, that is your best bet, but I'm old and when I had to use those stairs for 23 levels, my body feels broken. Also, the room keys only worked about every other time and getting down the elevators to get a new one is extremely frustrating. But again, the employees were fabulous. Also, it could be cleaner.
