The amenities and central location

Staff was friendly but not very accommodating, when we checked in. (Explanation as to why is in the "What didn't you like?" section, of this survey.) Room was clean, but there were only 2 hand towels in the shower / bathroom? We had to get towels from the "housekeeping lady", she was apologetic. We LOVED the window shade! Keep the room dark, when the sun came up. Never stayed in a room that had that kind of shade. We asked for & got the "Handicap Room" but wondered why it was located on the second floor, far from the elevator? What if the power went out & you had to evacuate & the elevator was inoperable? Then what? The "Breakfast" provided was your typical "Unimpressive" Continental Breakfast. Everything was "pre-made", eggs were watery, sausage was sitting in its own grease & cold. The GRAVEY was tasty & the biscuits were served hot, out of the oven, by the lady in charge. She went to every guest & personally offered them to everyone in the room!! Her smile & personal service was the "ONLY" thing that was IMPRESSIVE about the breakfast.

When my daughter made my reservations & forgot to check the "AAA / Senior" discount box, when making my reservations. When I contacted "Hotel Marguerite South Anaheim" to ask about applying the discount, they said I needed to contact Booking.com, since my daughter went thru them to make my reservations. The "Booking.com", customer service rep, said to let the front desk staff at "Hotel Marguerite South Anaheim" know about it, when checking in & that they would apply either the "AAA or Senior" discount rate. When I arrived: the front desk staff, said they couldn't apply either discount rate. When I informed them of what the customer service rep said from Booking.com. said; all I got was "Sorry, we don't change your original reservation." I've stayed at several "Wyndham Hotels" over the years & all of them applied the discount, even when I forgot to check the box, when making my reservations, when I checked in. It would seem as if profit before "Customer Satisfaction" is the new normal.

It was close to everything around the area. (Stores, shopping, attraction parks)

Never got my room cleaned once during my 3 night stay and only changed my towels once.
