Very cosy, great vibe

The decor, the jazz music in the cosy lobby, the location, the good coffee

No breakfast available in the hotel, but great bakery nearby. Queen beds are quite small.

Great hotel for a family stay. Large room.

Location was out of town centre but really well serviced by buses. All day travel for our family was $10 (kids were free). Download the Muni app. Good size room & bathroom. Spotless. Free tea & coffee in reception. Not loads of restaurants in walking distance but there’s a Pete’s Coffee, Super Duper Burger (both great) and an Italian where we got take out pizza from.

One lamp did not work and their was hair in the bathroom on the sink and bathtub room also smell moldy and musk smell

Lux on a budget, good enough for location specific needs.

Marble countertops, tv/cable, nice furniture, staff kindness/attentiveness. Clean filtered water refill and complementary hot beverages wonderful. Key card worked great, good security on door. Bathroom products and functioning top notch for classic offerings.

Mattress uncomfortable/too hard. Window stuck/wouldn’t open. Curtains didn’t close all the way. Hallway carpets old/gross.

Completely charming!

The entire place is styled beautifully. The location is great. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The room was elegant with a fantastic view. The front desk people were warm and accommodating. My best friend and I absolutely loved our stay!

Such a tiny thing... But the elevator was a little strange with a regular door in front of the elevator doors. Also it was a little pricy but it seemed worth it because it was a very safe area and it was so beautiful!

location is great, rooms good. need to work on entry and halls

rooms were nicely decorated. some have great views

the entry and the hallways are very dingy and feel fun down. the lighting is horrible. feels like a low end motel. not up to the quality of the location or the actual rooms. the cleaning bins visible on each floor are a turn off

I like this place, and will book when it is in the proper price range.

Rooms were tastefully done/decorated, room was a good size, bath room had good selection of soaps/shampoo, staff mostly helpful and pleasant

Price (I learned I paid nearly twice regular rate), floor access difficult (stairs, elevator) cannot accommodate two way traffic, rooms smell "old",

nice but make sure your room has curtains that close all the way

nice location

no blackout curtains and could not sleep. concierge wasn’t able to assist but I was discounted . I got home so late that I didn’t realize by the time I was unpacked and in PJs

Superb

Good hotel with a very convenient location in the historic center. True, it is better to take a taxi to the famous embankment. Walking distance to Union Square and Chinatown. I liked the care of the staff, and that there is hot water and tea on the 1st floor.

The air conditioner is noisy. I use earplugs and could sleep. But without them, hardly anyone will fall asleep.

walking distance to Kaiser hospital & in a family neighborhood. Small comfortable hotel. available parking

Nice hotel with good sized rooms and friendly staff.

The housekeeping staff were excellent - so friendly and helpful! The coffee was very good. Nice bathroom in the room. Access to the JCC athletic facilities.

Would have liked to have had some light breakfast options available

Great stay in a lovely area of San Francisco

Best area in San Francisco - easy to walk to most places and great breakfast/dinner options in the neighbourhood. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need. Great secure parking too!

I’m really heartbroken about my misplaced items.

I thought the hotel was good and good value.

My jewelry pouch has disappeared and can’t be found anywhere. I even have a photo of it in the room so I’m 100% sure it was there at some point.
