The location is one we have often stayed in, as it is centric but out of the Times Square hectic atmosphere. The beds, pillows, A/C and bathroom were all very good.
There are some issues with the construction going on outside of the building. During the day we were out, so noise was not a problem. But the staff informed us that the phones and TV might not be working. Ours were fine. In the first room we were given there was only very hot water coming out of the taps, so we were changed to another room. There are only three elevators for 40 stories, and although there are few rooms per floor, they took a really long time, especially in the mornings.

Great location and view, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was actually good.
Elevator would display the wrong floor on the menu screen on the inside but it was working fine.

Location..... spacious comfortable rooms.... large toilet..... kitchenette with fridge
Lifts were a major irritant.... one of the three not operational frequently... few. front office staffs were not really guest friendly.... have to collect drinking water bottles from the front office

Location, steps from subway, 10 min walk from Penn station, good breakfast buffet, small but excellent kitchenettes
Cramped rooms, and public spaces, poor sound insulation, slow elevators
