The motel is conveniently located fairly near the Nevada Theater in which I was performing. I love that I can walk to my favorite sandwich shop, Fudenjuice, and the manager told me about California Organics (also within walking distance), where we got food from the deli. The room was very quiet and the curtains kept out the light while we slept, which is usually not the case at the hotels in which we've stayed.

I would love it if the shower had a hose. It's hard to reach all the body parts without one.

Can't beat the Nevada City Inn for price and location. This place reminds me of the roadside dives my family would stay at on road trips in the 60's when the campgrounds were full, or the weather was too bad. Very basic and kinda run down, even though they've upgraded the bathrooms since my last visit and installed new tv's. Beds are hard on my hips, now that I'm older, but the place is clean, check in/out is efficient and, again, the price and location are great.
