Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Destin

It was my birthday trip and when I walked into the room , the very considerate and thoughtful staff had decorated my room with balloons and a happy birthday banner. I was so touched by this!! The complinentary breakfast was phenomenal. It gave you so many options of food and it was all of good quality. The food was always hot and set out for guests always on time. A very nice perk of staying there. The location was great as it was across the street from the beach and the hotel sat right on a turnpike type of a road that had every single store and every single restaurant you could possibly need. The convenience was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking outside on site. I will definitely stay there again.

I spent 5 nights there, two with one of our sons and three of our granddaughters. The breakfast was great and the pools (indoor and out). There are lots of things to do both east and west of the property.

I had an issue with the light in our bathroom but the staff was very good about it and jumped through hoops to make it right.

The location and cleanliness

The volume did not work on the remote, the internet didn’t connect to the PlayStation, and we got locked out our room 2times. Also, the bright light shining in your face on the balcony was annoying!
