Will return!

Clean and spacious rooms, loved the kitchen area (there is silverware and cookware) Very comfortable beds and overall we would book here again! The location was perfect! Close to salem, Peabody, downtown boston.. there is restaurants and stores nearby as well.

No room service, pool isn't there anymore and only one washer (two dryers) per hotel building so waiting to wash laundry was a hassle but it's free.

great location!

the hotel was in short distance to Salem, about 20-25 mins away. the woman at the front desk was very very nice, loved the small kitchen and spacious room.

no free breakfast offered, no housecleaning, and there was a weird smell in the room and the bathroom in our room smelled like cigarette smoke.

Great stay

I loved this place. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. This is my first time at Candlewood Suites and I will look for them in the future.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Good Value

Nicely furnished room with comfortable bedding.

They must have a contract to house indigent people, who were not rude but just lingering around the property. Depressing, and does not give a regular lodger full peace re: security.

Run - don’t walk away!

No soap at the bathroom sink. Did ask cleaning staff for some and they responded that they have been out for awhile. Well, go to the Dollar Store and buy Softsoap! HVAC was so loud it woke me at 5:00 a.m.Never again.

Way overpriced.

Hotel pillows are nice.

My two night stay was over $800 for a very lackluster experience.

Pleasant

Hard to find. No signage for the hotel. Construction going on inside and out. Only sugar for coffee and tea. No decaf tea. No milk for cereal in the morning. Oven did not work.No toilet paper or shower gel in my room when I arrived.

Very good

The staff was lovely. The room was a good size, the TV being able to swivel was great.

The fridge smelled horrible and the queen size bed was rather small, seemed closer to a full size bed, my 6ft tall husband had a hard time sleeping comfortably.

For those who want a home away from hone

Layout and amenities. Full kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom. If you’re traveling alone or with a family, there is a Trader Joe’s down the street for healthy eats.

Oddly did not have a bottle opener. I had to buy one!

Sufficient and decent

The room was decent and had a little kitchenette that was nice. There was some maintenance happening, so the check in desk was in an odd location. The hotel was tricky for us to find initially, but it was sufficient for out needs.

This was a reasonably priced room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and spacious.

I liked having a full kitchen and a separation from the bedroom. The carpet looked new and it also looked like the room had new paint. I also liked the desk area.

The pull out sofa was a bit old. I slept fairly well on it, but others might find it uncomfortable.
