A nice hotel with good staff and a pool.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and the public areas were nicely presented with a good café for breakfast.

Its quite far out from the city centre and was expensive for what it is.

The light at the of the tunnel

We were in a car accident hours before checking in, with all the chaos mentally, physically and emotionally it was a relief once we got there. The staff is very professional, helpful, welcoming, and understanding which made our stay awesome. The atmosphere is relaxing and stress-free.

Proximity to hospital, on-site restaurant, quiet and easy to locate right off the highway. Bed was comfortable and room had a balcony to let fresh air in. Close to shopping with grocery and restaurants.

The Journey

The facility has definitely been updated in recent years. The room was nicely decorated and streamlined, with elegant decor choices. I liked the layout of the room as well. The mattress was extremely comfortable and provided an excellent night's sleep. The A/C's were set at a nice cool temp so we could just relax and unwind in comfort.

The place itself looked very crisp and clean. There were just a few small items that could have been a little better. I wish the fingerprints had been removed from the glass doors in the room. I also wish resturaunt hours had been a little more conducive to our schedule, so we could have eaten on premises before going to the concert we were there for. Maybe another time.

The only thing is the cancellation fees I wanted to stay a extra night but they wouldn't cancel the room so I can add another one they wanted to charge me double and I thought that was a tad weird but policy is policy.

My home AC broke on July 3, house temp inside was 93 degrees! Compressor eta was Friday 7/8!! It was Marriott to the

Convenient location.

That it doesnt have a complimentary breakfast. Room wasnt clean properly...had random hair on bed and bathroom, among feeling that the sheets/bedding wasnt clean/fresh.

A few Pros LOTS of Cons

Mattress was actually pretty comfortable. Nice pillows Clean and sanitary smelling/looking towels Room cleaned well (including bathroom) No sign of vermin or infestations i.e. bedbugs Reasonable amount of channels on the TV along with other additions Relatively quiet considering location in busy area Normal hotel sounds (opening/closing of door est) at a minimum Staff offered me a fan after figuring out my a/c was not working 100%.

The price!! 💸💸💸 Breakfast NOT included, it costs extra They charge you an extra $20 at check in to cover "anything additional you want to add to your stay" the charge will "fall off at check out if not used." The eco friendly thermostats... (bring a fan cause you'll get hot) No microwave in room Mini fridge in room is questionable on functionality The shower has NO handles inside the shower. The only shelf in the shower is being held on with hopes and dreams. The balconies and patios, while a nice idea, is a security factor for those traveling alone. The sheets PULL YOUR HAIR. Shave your legs or it feels like a slow wax. No liners in any of the room's trashcans. Weird. The room trashcan is TINY. The rooms have "energy saver" thermostats. You can't set the ac fan to run continuously so if you're used to sleeping with a fan you best bring one because the room got hot FAST, and are quiet (save for the normal hotel sounds of closing doors). Will NEVER book here again because I'm not paying this much for a room to be hot and not be able to sleep. I also didn't spend this much to be considering going to walmart at 2:30am to buy a fan. I kicked the blankets off and I had the thermostat set to 65°F. Ridiculous.

we didn’t get the room we booked. we booked a king bed with sofa and got a king handicap accessible. also had a bunch of people hanging around smoking and drinking on the side of the building. with a young child felt unsafe and not a good look to have at your hotel.

Pleasant

I’m very disappointed. I specifically booked this property understanding there was an outside pool. I checked before booking to be sure there were no notifications about the pool being closed. Once here I learned that the pool does not open each year until Memorial Day. This is information which could have easily been provided to me prior to or at time of booking. In the future I will no longer book through Booking.com but will book directly with the hotel to assure accurate information
