Nice people! Modern aesthetics in room! Safe area with easy access to grocery stores and the town

Room doors open to outside so no hallways to walk through

The weekly housekeeping didn’t vacuum and we had to ask them to do basic things after most items got skipped the first week

Really disappointing.

There was no blanket on the bed, the furniture was uncomfortable with minimal cushioning, the room was dirty, there was a lot of visible dirt and dust in the air vents, stains on lampshade, and damaged/missing towel bar, etc. Overall the room was very uncomfortable.

Please open the bathroom drawer and vacuum it out. Someone trimmed their beard in there and just left it. So gross.

Great location and was quiet.

The pool and the breakfast was great. The room was not really clean when I arrived but called the front desk and they fixed the problem. They sent housekeeping to clean.

That I had to call the front desk to have the room cleaned again.

Will try to visit again if im on the road but hope to get a better room next time.

I wish i can say i enjoyed my time but seriously i had toddlers and they gave me a duplex suit and the top floor was open concept so i was running after my kids worried they would fall down form the top floor. They should let people know about this if they have children for safety issues. other then that the room was decent and the parking is being dealt with under repair and not many available.

I didnt like the suit they chose for me and my children duplex with open concept not safe for children should not be recommended.

old, not clean and motel vibe

The room was more like a motel and not as up to date. The floors had stains that were imbedded in the carpet and the bathroom smelled sour with a dirty toilet.

It was all terrible. I would not go back as the room that was advertised is not what it looks like in person. May be good for someone travelog cheaper but not for a romantic get away weekend.

It looks like the projects. There was construction going on and I mean major construction that you had to walk through to get to the front office. It was very dirty looking. I had to be switched to 3 different rooms, one due to construction,another due to the worst smell of cigarette smoke, then I had a room next to an outside air conditioner that made the wall shake and was very loud and had a bad smell as well. The last room I had smelled better but had burn holes in the carpet and I ended having to buy bleach to clean up ants around tv due to them having no other rooms and there were also two Beatles that had to be killed as well. I didn't have towels or wash clothes and had to walk back through construction to get those. This was by far the worst and I mean the worst experience I have ever had. I had no choice but to stay due to everything being sold out because we were traveling for a football tournament. I highly recommend that nobody stays there!!!!!!!

We paid $275 to sleep in a disgustingly filthy room.

The receptionist was so sweet and very competent.

There were public hairs on the toilet seat, blood splatters on the bathroom walls and door, the floors were filthy and left the bottoms of our feet black. There was massive construction on the property, the pool was unusable, wooden planks on the broken sidewalks of the property, work trucks were blocking a lot of the pathways.

The breakfast choices were good each morning.

The room was a little dated. It could use a remodel. The kitchen was not that clean. It appears that housekeeping only does a quick cleaning of the kitchen area. Our kitchen needed a thorough cleaning.

Suitable for families with young kids but not for a relaxing getaway

the staff was kind and helpful.

if you’re traveling with young children who want to go swimming, then this is probably the right place for you. I came here looking for a nice relaxing getaway where I could do some swimming and use the sauna. after spending the afternoon in town I returned to the hotel in the evening to find the pool area had been taken over by a mass of young kids, a good number of whom where running down the hotel corridors yelling (at each other) and it was clear that the hotel belonged to them. I got up to swim the next morning thinking it would be a good time…was true for about 10 minutes and then there were about 15 kids in the pool. I thought it would be a good time to use the sauna and the woman at the desk gave me the key for it but went down to discover that it wasn’t working. Also, the air conditioning in the room was very loud. I’ve never left a bad review for a hotel before but I was quite disappointed on my trip, getting none of the down time that I was looking for. Its a great place if you’re a family traveling with little kids.

it was a lot of money for the condition of the room and appliances, 1 fork, one spoon, one coffee mug, the pans were unusable… very disappointing, I guess we will have to look for another place to stay, this was my 5th visit, and probably my last.

Terrible, it was definitely not worth leaving a $250 deposit.

Breakfast in the dining room was very good, and it was very clean.

There was no hot water in the shower. They offered to change our room, but I was already out of the cold shower, and in my night clothes my husband was freezing when he stepped out of that bathroom. The rugs are a disgrace, and look like someone threw up right outside our door. I have pictures to prove it as I have pictures of the rug and outside my door. If you look at the pictures of the rug clearly, it looks like blood stains. It was horrible.

Check in staff was excellent. Peacefully place to stay, my 9 years old son like there except found hairs on bed

Room size pretty good, quite, feeling peaceful just minutes away from Newark downtown

My son found hairs from bed, then he told me feeling not clean anymore. there is no cups for tooth clean, just 2 glass cups found

Very local to where we had to go. And the space accommodated the amount of people we had.

The room was not the cleanest. Stains in the bathroom/ tub and by upstairs bathroom. Kitchen area was sticky. hot water continuously ran out and when called front desk they said try again in 30 mins. But never came back on so we had to boil water and shower that way after having a long day.

Much nicer than expected. Quiet, large room and nice breakfast.

Room was very nice in terms of size, design, etc. Breakfast was pretty good.

The soap dispenser was empty. We only had one bar of soap and could have used a second. The paper towel was almost empty. Little details like this. Wish there was plain and or greek yogurt.
