it’s a solid choice - there are a lot worse!

location was fantastic staff were excellent breakfast was okay - tasty and fresh if not limited in the selection. room was spacious enough and clean. beds were comfortable

the pool was freezing and the hot tub was pretty disgusting the smell of weed was everywhere which made enjoying the balcony impossible- couldn’t leave the balcony door open. found a half smoked cigar on the balcony so I don’t think the no smoking policy is enforced.

Won't book here again.

We stayed here for a gymnastics competition. My daughters whole team stayed on site. The main reason for booking was the pool but it was closed for renovations. The wallpaper was peeling off of the wall and it appeared to be because of water damage. There was dust around the floor boards and mold in the bathroom sink. The hallways were dirty and dimly lit. We won't book here again.

Breakfast was carb loaded but the kids enjoyed it. Awesome balcony and view of the ocean.

When you walk in to the lobby, it was clean. But it went down hill from their.

Elevators are unkempt. The bed mattress was hard and lumpy. Rust on bathroom door, and shower head was small with no pressure. The toilet was low on the floor. Needs to be updated.

Very good

We were satisfied, however we would prefer to be on a lower floor on our next visit. We did not interact much with staff but our check in was seamless and the location of the hotel met our needs to reach specific areas of the beach. Our next visit is (9/2 - 9/4/23) where we will request a lower floor.

I did not ask this bonus question from the survey "Bonus Question – You stated a preference during booking to have parking at no additional cost. Was Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront able to fulfill your request?" I asked for foam pillows and my request was accommodated.

I liked the view and the room for the most part. The breakfast was ok not the best.

I absolutely hated the water pressure and I hated the fact that one of the towels I had was completely covered in someone’s pubic hair

The location was right on the beach it was great.

The beds/pillows were uncomfortable. The TV's didn't work well, they never connected to the internet. We also wish we had screen doors to the balcony; we ended up with bugs infesting the room. They took care of the bugs quickly, to their credit. A screen door would've prevented it altogether.

It was just ok, the whole area seems rundown.

Location was ok.

The room was just so so. The couch was horrible. The AC had a hard time keeping the room cool during the day, plus it was old and very loud.

right on the beach

they would not honor the king bed room that I booked through booking.com. they gave me a double room that was a little beat up. bathroom ceiling was peeling paint. the soap dispenser was off the wall and sitting off to the side and the chair in the living space had stains on it. obviously maintenance is not a top priority.

It was definitely an experience that I don’t want to happen again.

I loved the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

The dirty sheets in the room, the uncleanliness of the hairy shower and carpet in the room. The uncleanliness of the toilet. The hot tub was freezing which was a huge disappointment. The breakfast made me sick.

excellent customer service, great view, and clean room

The front desk went above and beyond helping to make sure our family was comfortable in our room whether it be with the sofa bed size or exchanging feather pillows for other ones due to allergies. I would have to say this is the best customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. They also had a great variety to choose from for breakfast.

It was okay, nothing bad happened.

The breakfast selection was amazing. The bed was comfortable and I loved that the bathroom was of decent size.

The pool/hot tub visually looked a little dirty but it’s expected being a community pool so to speak. There wasn’t a tub at all. So the price point was a bit steep for me.
