UPDATE: Booking.com has issued the refund. No issues with the property or staff.
Upon arrival they were experiencing a plumbing issue and offered many options, but in the end we decided to stay at another Marriot down the street. The staff was confident that they could issue a refund but said to call the next day to speak with a manager. I did so and the manager said that it was not a problem and a refund would be issued right away but could speak to how long booking.com would take. To date I have not received the refund from booking.com. So this is really a complaint about booking.com and will be the last time we use it. Essentially the property lost, I lost, and booking.com made money. Seems like theft.

Close to cocoa beach, pool, rooms and frontdesk staff

The staff at the restaurant and Starbucks were wonderful
Would not give water to Marriot Members said they did not participate and then charged $5.00 for a bottle of water
Was further away from beach then expected

I like the balcony, however it was too hot to use it, so it was a waste of an upgrade for me. The staff were nice and hotel was clean. Walkability to the beach was a feature.
The old fashion AC unit below the window was exceptionally noisy and was a problem for us and prevented a good sleep.
