The person working at the front desk when I first arrived around 1:30 was very friendly but, unfortunately the maids were extremely behind on servicing and releasing rooms. I was told that "maybe" my room would be available by 2:30 (I had been told in advance that it would be ready by about 1). It wasn't.
I went off to run some errands and came back around 3 and, at first was told that my room was not ready with no ETA available. When I mentioned that the person that had been at the front desk told me differently, the person that was at the desk then told me my room had been given to someone else.
See the "What did you like?" above as the only thing there that I liked was the first person that was working the front desk when I arrived, but he soon left.
After I was told that my room had been given away, I pressed that my room had been paid in full in advance and I was not leaving until I got a suitable room. Suddenly there were rooms available. Grrr!
