Cambria Landing Inn and Suites

I loved my stay at the hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and having a fireplace and jacuzzi tub was absolutely wonderful. I also really enjoyed the location and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

The only things I would have enjoyed were a better ocean view and a little more staff presence in the evening. We also had some difficulty figuring out how to turn on the fireplace, as there wasn’t any information provided. We eventually located the switch, but it was on the opposite side of the room near the bedside lamp. A small note or indication of its location would have been helpful.

We had a room without air conditioning which I didn't even think was possible. So we did not sleep well because of this. Confirm your room type ahead of time. Excellent location. The hot tubs were clean and appreciated. Morning snacks and coffee are a plus as well.

The printed instructions given by staff at check-in stated to call '0' after hours. We attempted half a dozen times at various times in the evening with no answer.

Room was spacious.

I booked the room through booking.com 4 months in advance and requested an ocean view. We did not get an ocean view. When we got there, Management declared there was no such request. Indicated there were no rooms with a view available and proceeded to say that we should have booked directly. We paid over a hundred dollars more for the night over our room in downtown Cambria for the view and the easy access to the walking trail along the beach. My friend was in from the East coast for this get away and we were very disappointed that this hotel did not honor the reservation.
