I love Old Silver Beach, it is one of my favorite places in the world (beautiful, warm water, tranquil setting.) I love that beach chairs are set up and towels are available. I love that it has both an outdoor and indoor pool. I love that it has a restaurant on the facility. The staff in the gift shop and snack bar were very helpful and friendly.
We have been going there since 2016. The building seems to need some TLC. The baseboards seem rusted or something. The drape in our room was broken. We had to keep it closed with some books leaned against the window since we were on the first floor. The bedding used to be really luxurious. At our visit, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The description on Booking.com although true was somewhat misleading. It said oceanfront when I chose the offering. I noticed it changed to ocean view when I purchased it. The view was of the parking lot. The ocean was blocked by the cars. The breakfast buffet was not up to par. The made to order omelets were being made by inexperienced kids and most often only one who couldn't keep up with the people in the line (not his fault). The scrambled eggs in the line were cold.

Beach location is somewhat rare for the area with full amenities
Lots of kids! Not their fault, it's vacation but at times overwhelming as opposed to smaller boutique hotels we normally stay at but we understand.

The breakfast seemed to be the only good meal we had there and the only meal worth the price.
Cleanliness needs work. Food prices are outrageous for what you get. This is our 6th time there and this time it did not meet our expectations. Amenities didn’t open the time they said they would. No waiters on the beach like usual. It just was not great. Unfortunately
