A very nice older hotel, very comfortable, and at a reasonable rate. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the food in your restaurant was very good.
I am a walker, and when I set out for my evening walk I found that Abbottstown is not a very walkable town. Say a prayer before crossing the street near the traffic circle. The town doesn't have much in the way of sidewalks for pedestrian traffic. That said, it's a quaint old town, and the hotel is easy to find.

Absolutely loved our stay, We are planning to be back this fall and expect it to be a little more crowded but not outrageously so. Hope to have dinner at the restaurant on our next trip. Room was comfortable, bed was amazing, we talked about wanting to spend more time in the room but then again we dont travel to spend time in a hotel room.
There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted and treated very well at check-in. were able to take a quick look around the dining room area before being shown the stairs to our room.
