Excellent for a family.

We had a one bedroom queen suite which I did not realize when booking. This was amazing with a toddler in tow…no one below us to disturb, a table to eat at, and a bedroom door that could be closed for getting a sleepy kiddo to relax in a new place. We will be staying here again!

View from room, had my mom with me and she loved being able to just sit and watch the ocean. So peaceful and good for your soul.

Enjoyed Pelican Inn, this was the second time we stayed there and would stay there again.

Appreciated that the hotel was pet friendly Rooms were spacious and clean. Liked the second sink outside of the restroom. Liked the fireplace. Location was great, right on Moonstone Beach.

We were with another couple and both of us did not like the pillows so had a hard time sleeping because the pillows were so uncomfortable. We were with some elderly relatives and it was hard to navigate the stairs, there was no elevator.

carpet. at a pet friendly place, you should have hardwood floors throughout. otherwise dogs will use the carpet like a giant wee wee pad.

The view.

The hotel is dirty, run down needs complete remodel. They don't clean your rooms unless you are there more than three days. Don't pick up trash, you have to go get coffee, towels, etc. I would never stay there again.

Not one of my best trips

We didt have breakfast, wasn’t informed that they provided it.

You can hear the upstairs guest every step , heard a dog constantly barking in the middle of the night, when I called front desk no one answered. Granted I was woken up at 2 am so maybe no one was working?

Very pleased overall. Will repeat staying there.

Mainly like the location, general ambiance, grounds, rooms, beds. Disappointed they have not reinstituted the fabulous buffet breakfast they offered prior to Covid19. Could do more to accommodate handicapped person, i.e., raised toilet, safety bars on tub/showers. Still signs of aging around could be updated. Bathroom ceiling had some type of "temporary" cover on ceiling. Looked tacky. Bathroom could use better lighting over the mirror. Dated! Front office staff very friendly and accommodating. Maintenance staff very unfriendly. No "good morning" or "hi." No smiles.

Pelican Inn and Suites is an exceptional place to stay on the ocean in Cambria.

The staff was exceptional and super responsive. Emad and Valerie were helpful and friendly. The view was fantastic. The room was large and comfortable. The POOL! Wow! It was warm and very clean.

Extra coffee and cups each morning would have been helpful. They were delivered shortly after our request.

It was pleasant , if rooms updated would stay again.

I really liked the location, right across from the beach. beautiful landscape around the hotel areas. Front desk was nice and helpful, friendly.

There was no housekeeping still . The room looked like it needed lots of updating. curtains, bedding, lamp shades were stained. Bathroom fixtures rusted . paint chipping off doors.
