Travelodge by Wyndham Vallejo

Clean property, comfortable rooms, with a decent hot tub and little swimming pool... not a bad location 30 minutes So of Naps, with easy access to SF Bay Ferry service to/from San Francisco.

Generally quiet, clean, although not particularly walkable to anything in Vallejo. Good Wifi.

Bathroom well equiped, room very fine, bed excellent,

but air conditioning very noisy and area of hotel noisy.

I cannot think of one thing that I did not like about my stay at the Travelodge. My room had everything that I like to have in a room. I had a great TV, remote, clean and remodeled bathroom, the water pressure was good and fine, a very comfortable bed, nice refrigerator, microwave, safe security, I was able to park very near my room, the desk persons were warm and cordial, and the cleaning persons did not disturb me. The TV had an excellent range of offerings, better than most hotels that I stay at. The WIFI was good and strong. I was able to access a wonderful Thai restaurant close by, and I drove up to Napa twice. I will stay here again, when I am in Vallejo, or Napa. They have a pool that looked clean and enticing, but I did not have enough time to use it. Perhaps when I return !

These things are minor and fixable. They did not hurt my stay in any way, but I will mention them for improvement in the future. The bathroom sink faucet needs to anchored, as it wobbles. The refrigerator freezer compartment did not freeze my chillers hard, and there was a large amount of water in the catchment tray, so check on that. The refrigerator part seemed to keep my food cold though. The cover for the remote was rather sticky, so that could be inspected. I can’t think of anything else at the moment.

At first, the only way we could find into the property was through an alley that was full of potholes, kind of tore up my car. The lobby, if you will, couldn’t hold more than two people comfortably
