Best Western Plus Forest Park Inn

It was in a great location. Close to stores and restaurants. Very spacious rooms. Took advantage of the washer and dryer on site. Nice outdoor pool area to hang out.

Had really loud people above us all night. Asked for a second floor room but there was none available.

The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient.

The asphalt of the property was being redone. It made finding parking difficult. My room was not ready. I had to wait 45 minutes, after driving all day. My room was right next to the door to enter the rooms. It had no hydraulic door closer - so the door banged closed with regularity into the night. The next morning, I was awakened to a man breaking up asphalt with a shovel, literally right outside my window. Hopefully, reviews will improve once the parking lot is refinished. During this time, they should have posted a notice addressing this, letting the traveler decide to stay or offered a discount (they did not) until the job was finished. I told them about the door banging. Hopefully, they will fix this unacceptable noise pollution. And, hopefully, the maid will be told to get a clean bucket of water for those last couple of rooms to clean, instead of using dirty water and leaving a smell. The hotel seemed to be full of a lot of returning workers, making it quite busy in the morning. The breakfast served was hot. The raisin toast was good.
