Beautiful views of the ocean and the Monterey Peninsula.
Something was dripping down from one of the upper rooms at the corner of the parking lot. I had to avoid walking that direction.

We loved the sound of the ocean as we slept and the beautiful view through our windows. The room was clean and tidy. We loved the smores and fire pits, they are well maintained. The breakfast was the most delicious breakfast we've had in awhile. The free drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic was a prefect touch.
We didn't love how well you could hear loud people outside the hotel room around midnight. After 10 minutes their voices died down. It was only a bit disruptive. We didn't love the $56 charge for parking for one night. We understand a parking fee, but it is getting carried away especially for short stays. I would hope it changes to a daily rate that is not so expensive.

Location on the beach, comfort of the room, close to things on the Monterey peninsula.
No easy small breakfast except the restaurant ( but it was good).

Location was good.
The room was very small. Minimalist. Room lacked storage, no place to hang a towel near the sink. Used towels on a countertop is gross. Could barely open the door to the tiniest toilet and shower area without banging in to it. Dangerous and slippery tub shower combo with no mat or grab bar. The whole room seemed lacking simple amenities for the price. $50.00 a night to park plus tax came to $227.00. Outrageous!
