South Long Beach motel 6

Friendly service

Upon arrival, parking lot was blocked with police activity. Lots of homeless individuals around. Restroom smelled like cigarettes, we got a smoke free room.

Good Value for a Comfortable Room

Location was on an easy to access main street, as well as being close to the freeways. It felt like a fairly safe neighborhood to be in, with lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The parking lot was well lit and a member of staff was always onsite.

There was a lot of traffic noise, but there's not much you can do about that. The driveway also was shared with a very busy In & Out burger restaurant so it was sometimes a bit of a challenge to get to the parking lot.

The location was next to the best Cali restaurant I know of.

The smell in the room and the fluctuation of temperatures, as I did not understand how to control it; There was a yucky texture on the shower floor for stepping on.

The location was nicer (staff, surrounding areas, cleanliness) then other Motel 6 locations I have ever stayed.

Only complaint would be a neighbors dog barking at 2am

Nothing

I paid around $900 with no breakfast. Intermittent internet, too many homeless people around the property making it unsafe. The room was cleaned twice for the 9 days I was there and only cleaned upon request.

my toilet was clogged and there was a domestic violence situation that kept going All night

it was close to the beach and the staff was knowledgeable about the surroundings areas

the beds were not conferrable the rooms were also tiny and cramped for a full family

Great if you just want a place to sleep and not pay too much

Location was great and staff was friendly. Next door to an In-N-Out :)

The bathroom sink was leaking and caused water puddles all over the floor though

Disappointing

Room cleanliness

Check in guy was amazing, also the cleaning lady. But other ladies were horrible not attentive or responsive at all. Also THERE IS NOOOO WIFI at all. So that was biggest issue I had as I was working and had to spend money on my own phone carrier

There was none, ie: Covid precautions still in place. Was not a problem for me.

The mattress was in horrible shape. Turns out this is largely a residential motel. On the morning I was reading to leave, a couple of young ladies came looking for a previous tenet at the room I was staying in. When I realized they were banging on my door I called the front desk and the manager came over and told them to leave. A note was found at the door when I left. Probably not 3-4 miles further down the road is a much nicer Motel 6. I shared what I have said here with the manager when I checked out. Also, it is in a long ongoing freeway construction zone which can be confusing if not from the area.
